Kathy FerryKathy is a former collegiate and national champion tennis player turned pickleball pro. She played collegiate tennis at Western Kentucky University and helped her 4.5 USTA team win the National Championships in 2018. Kathy transitioned exclusively to pickleball in 2021.
She is a 2x National Senior Games gold medalist in singles and a 2x silver medalist in women’s doubles. Kathy’s accomplishments include a silver medal in singles at the 2024 U.S. Open in Naples, as well as gold medals in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles at the 2024 APP Vlasic Classic in Cincinnati. She also won Gold in Women’s Doubles across two different age groups and Bronze in Mixed Doubles at the USA Pickleball Fortune Tires North Mid-Atlantic Diamond Regional in Cranberry Township, PA. Kathy secured Gold in Women’s Doubles at the 2024 APP Beer City Open in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Gold in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles at the 2024 Ohio Senior Olympics National Qualifier. In November 2023, she claimed Gold in singles at the USA National Pickleball Championships in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, she won Bronze in Women’s Senior Pro Singles at the Gamma Tournament in Pittsburgh in August 2023. In 2022, Kathy earned Gold in Women’s Doubles, Silver in Singles, and Bronze in Mixed Doubles at the Hilton Head APP Golden Ticket Tournament, as well as sweeping Gold in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles at the Cincinnati PPA Tournament. In 2023, she took Silver in Singles and Mixed Doubles, and Bronze in Women’s Doubles at the New York APP Golden Ticket Tournament. |
